People's Postcode Lottery

CHILDREN 1ST is one of the Scottish charities benefiting from the People's Postcode Lottery alongside the Scottish Wildlife Trust, Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres, Missing People (in Scotland) and the People's Postcode Trust.
The charities receive 20% of all money raised from monthly ticket sales. Since the beginning of the partnership, the People's Postcode Lottery has raised over £1.2 million for CHILDREN 1ST.
CHILDREN 1ST not only benefits directly from the funds but also from profiles and promotions which raise awareness of our work.
The People's Postcode Lottery was launched in November 2007 with the first draw held on 4th January 2008. In just six months, over 60,000 people subscribed to the People's Postcode Lottery for a chance to win the £25,000 prize. Most players said that one of the main reasons for taking part in the People's Postcode Lottery was the link with Scottish charities. To date over £4 million has been raised for good causes in Scotland.
