We want every child and young person in Scotland to have a childhood that is happy, healthy, safe and secure.
This vision underlines all the work we do - from providing abuse recovery services to supporting families. But we can't achieve this alone.
For 125 years we have campaigned to help to change the lives of vulnerable children and young people for the better.
We have appealed to politicians, civil servants, local authorities, the media and the general public to work positively for children and young people in Scotland and turn our vision into reality.
Change doesn't happen overnight. But in our long history we have played an important part in achieving major steps forward for children and young people in Scotland: from better provision for vulnerable young witnesses giving evidence in court to the establishment of a Children's Commissioner, and we continue to press for our child protection systems to more child-friendly.
Still, there is much more to do. We will campaign for change until every child in Scotland has a safe, happy, healthy and secure childhood. Please join us in helping make this vision a reality. Our campaigning priorities are:
- Children's rights
- Protecting children and young people
- Recovery from abuse and trauma
- Supporting families
