• Children and young people have the same rights as everyone else in our society and their interests should always come first.
• Society needs to address the symptoms and the causes of unhappiness and difficulties in children and young people’s lives.
• Valuing children and young people and what they bring to our lives is a key part in changing how we treat them in our society.
