Support CHILDREN 1ST this Christmas
05/11/2008
Christmas is a time for children and a time when we think of others less fortunate than ourselves. So why not help CHILDREN 1ST while choosing your Christmas cards or gifts?
Christmas Collection
This year - for the first time - CHILDREN 1ST's range of Christmas cards is available online. The collection includes five unique designs - one of which is by Mairi Hedderwick, creator of the phenomenally popular Katie Morag children's books, and includes a delicious recipe for ‘Snowy Mountains'.
CHILDREN 1ST also has a branded calendar and a collection of wrapping paper. Card prices start at £3.25 for a pack of ten cards (plus postage and packaging), with wrapping paper packs available for as little as £1.
View and order online or call the order hotline on 0845 10 80 111.
Virtual Gifts
The CHILDREN 1ST virtual giving website Part & Parcel allows you to give a gift of real worth that will help change a life.
- For just £10 you can help a child who has been abused to come to terms with their experience through painting, playing with puppets or therapeutic storytelling
- £14 will provide food and basic childcare items for children who attend the CHILDREN 1ST breakfast club - ensuring they receive at least one nutritious meal per day
- £16 will pay for a child who is having difficulties at home or at school to attend a class at Dino School, where they are taught how to form friendships and get on with their peers by Dina the Dinosaur puppet.
Visitors to the site can select a beautiful card with a photo and a description of the gift, then write a personal message to your friend or loved one. Dispatch is guaranteed within three days.
