About us: Our services

Corrieneuchin Aberdeenshire

Corrieneuchin in Aberdeenshire provides a therapeutic service for children and young people who have experienced physical, emotional or sexual abuse. The aim of our work is to help children build on their strengths and develop trusting relationships. Our staff help families protect their children from further abuse.

Linked to the Corrieneuchin Aberdeen City Service.

Eva's Mum died, Stuart's Dad is in prison, Tommy was abused by his uncle and Lesley's sister was murdered.

The Corrieneuchin Aberdeenshire service helps some of the most vulnerable children across the region to recover from the distress and trauma of abuse, loss and bereavement.

The service helps children and young people to make sense of the impact of their past traumatic experiences on their present feelings and behaviour.

Staff work to build a trusting relationship with the child or young person, providing them with a safe place in which to express their feelings and emotions, build their self-esteem and self-confidence and help them to begin to trust again in others.

If you would like to access this service, you can find contact details in our Services Contact List.
