Virgin London Marathon 2012
Be part of the UK's biggest and most prestigious running event in the 2012 Olympic city.
In 2011, more than 35,000 runners took part in this race along London’s famous streets and past its iconic sights.
Run in the Virgin London Marathon for CHILDREN 1ST, feel the excitement in the air, listen to the cheering crowds and experience the unique atmosphere of the UK's most popular marathon. You’ll be alongside runners from all over the world while raising money to make a difference to the lives of Scotland’s vulnerable children and young people.
Does CHILDREN 1ST have charity assured places?
Our charity assured places have now all been taken. However, if you have been lucky enough to secure a place in the public ballot and would like to run for CHILDREN 1ST, please contact us.
How will CHILDREN 1ST support me?
We provide all our Team CHILDREN 1ST runners with a branded running vest or t-shirt along with our top tips and ideas for raising sponsorship. We can provide you with any fundraising materials you need, such as balloons and collection cans. We will also be on hand to support you with your fundraising plans.
I have my own place. How do I join Team CHILDREN 1ST?
We would love to hear from you if you have been successful in the public ballot and want to run and raise money for CHILDREN 1ST. There is no minimum sponsorship pledge but we suggest that you set a personal sponsorship target and raise as much as you can for CHILDREN 1ST.
