Valentine's Hamper Appeal 2012
Our wish this Valentine’s Day is for every child in Scotland to have a happy, healthy, safe and secure childhood.
Take part in our Valentine’s Hamper Appeal 2012 and help us to build a brighter future for Scotland's vulnerable children by raising essential funds for CHILDREN 1ST. Create your workplace hamper filled with anything from bubbly to chocolates!
The money raised from the appeal goes directly towards providing Scotland's children with the care and nurture they so desperately need and deserve.
The sad reality is that not all children have happy childhoods. In fact many of the children we work with have suffered abuse, neglect or violence in their lives. CHILDREN 1ST helps vulnerable children and their families throughout Scotland to build a brighter future. We couldn’t do it without the people of Scotland supporting us.
It's easy to take part in the appeal:
- Simply download the Valentine’s Hamper fundraising pack (PDF document, 1.9MB).
- Display the poster and create interest in the event.
- Fill a Valentine's hamper with lovely goodies brought in by your staff/colleagues.
- Once your hamper is full, hold a raffle.
- Send in the funds you have raised.
The winner gets to take the hamper home to enjoy. What will they win? You decide!

The proceeds of the raffle will go towards our 39 local and four national services across Scotland. We reach vulnerable families, protect children from harm and neglect, help them recover from abuse and promote children's rights and interests.
