Free kinship care workshop 'Hints and tips about school today' (Aberdeen)
Over the past few months we have taken the time to consult with kinship carers across the country to find out exactly what they expect CHILDREN 1ST to provide.
We were told by kinship carers that they wanted more information and advice on financial matters, hints and tips for schooling today and the impacts of substance misuse.
With this in mind we are pleased to say that there will be a workshop on ‘Hints and tips for schooling today’ to be held on Wednesday 22 August 2012, 10:30am to 12:30pm in central Aberdeen.
The workshop will be explore different aspects of schooling including: Curriculum for Excellence; communication within schools; bullying policies; support for learning; financial support; homework; and much more.
