RoadBlock Run

The RoadBlock Run is the new name for Urbanathlon Scotland – the wackiest 10K in Scotland. You'll take in the beautiful views of Edinburgh's Holyrood Park as you encounter unusual obstacles along the way.
If you enjoy an active challenge but don't take yourself too seriously, this is the event for you.
The route is a closely guarded secret, but we can tell you that you will laugh your way around the course of this fantastic event.
Get involved either as an individual participant or gather your mates and colleagues to make up a team of 3.
How will CHILDREN 1ST support me?
Join Team CHILDREN 1ST and we will provide you with a CHILDREN 1ST t-shirt or running vest for the event, as well as iron-on letters for your name. You'll also receive a booklet of inspiring fundraising ideas, as well as materials and support to really get your fundraising moving. On the day, we'll be there to cheer you on and congratulate you as you cross the finish line.
How do I register?
You can register either as an individual or in a team of 3. Get in touch with the Events Team on 0131 319 8068 or at events@children1st.org.uk and we'll get you signed up. To enter, you will be asked to pay a £12 fee which will go towards your sponsorship target.
How much sponsorship do I have to raise?
For a place in the RoadBlock Run, we ask you to raise a minimum of £125. £12 of this will be paid as a registration fee when you sign up, so you'll be aiming to raise £113 in sponsorship.
Every penny you raise helps us to build a brighter future for Scotland’s vulnerable children and families.
Can I wear fancy dress?
Yes! Fancy dress is actively encouraged, and there is a prize for the best costume... but do remember that you have to tackle obstacles in whatever you are wearing!

- Fastest female
- Fastest male
