Peterson SBS staff lose pounds to make pounds!

Friday 30 January 2009

With all the current buzz about streamlining business, Peterson SBS is showing off a new leaner workforce - but it's all for charity!

Staff at the logistics solutions company, which works with the energy industry in the Dutch and UK sectors of the North Sea, have been supporting CHILDREN 1ST over the past 12 months, during which they have organised a number of events, including a ball, a dinner and a sponsored slim.

Murdo McIver, director of Peterson SBS, said: "After staff visited the Corrieneuchin Project in Aberdeen they felt compelled to do something to assist such a worthy charity with local connections, and I would like to thank everyone who was involved in raising such valuable funds for CHILDREN 1ST."

CHILDREN 1ST senior regional fundraiser, Emily Johnson, said: "We would like to extend our gratitude to the dedicated dieters at Peterson SBS. The funds raised from the sponsored slim and many other events will make a real difference to the lives of Scotland's vulnerable children and their families."
