Give a Gift to Scotland's Children this Easter
Wednesday 11 March 2009
This Easter, with healthy eating on everyone's lips, why not give the chocolate eggs a miss and give a gift that will make a real difference to a child's life.
Our virtual giving website www.partandparcel.org.uk, allows you to choose an imaginative present that will help the most vulnerable and neglected children here in Scotland.
Part & Parcel is also a great way to show your mum how much you love her this Mother's Day by letting her help a child instead of giving the usual gifts of flowers, toiletries or chocs.
• For £10 you can help a child who has been abused come to terms with their experience through painting, playing with puppets or therapeutic storytelling
• £14 will provide food and basic childcare items for children who attend our breakfast club, ensuring they receive at least one nutritious meal per day
• £16 will allow a child who is having difficulties at home or in the classroom to attend a class at Dino School, where they are taught how to make positive friendships by Dina the Dinosaur puppet.
Select a beautiful card with a photo and a description of your gift, then write a personal message to your friend or loved one. Delivery is guaranteed within three days.
