Volunteers' Week

Volunteers' Week takes place from 1st to 7th June. This annual awareness week is all about rewarding, recognising and recruiting volunteers.
Last year 1,087 volunteers contributed an incredible 64,194 hours to our work. The largest numbers were action group members, befrienders and call takers for ParentLine Scotland and ChildLine Scotland.
A wide variety of roles are carried out for CHILDREN 1ST by volunteers including administration, charity shop staff, advocates and graphic designers to name but a few. There are also 21 volunteers on the CHILDREN 1ST board.
We are most grateful for all their energy and dedication. The steadfast commitment that each and every one of our volunteers gives helps us to make sure that children and families in Scotland get the support they need and deserve.
