Winning big with the Big Postcode Rollover

Katharine Brown and Angus Purden with Jamie and Ewan AndersonIn these difficult economic times, it seems sometimes that all the news is doom and gloom. Indeed many of the children and families we work with at CHILDREN 1ST are among those hardest hit by recession and our help is needed more than ever. In this light, CHILDREN 1ST is particularly grateful for our partnership with the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Since the launch of the People's Postcode Lottery in January 2008, CHILDREN 1ST has received an astonishing £740,782 in unrestricted income, meaning that we are able to deliver services where they are most needed.

The success of the People’s Postcode Lottery is astonishing. The money raised for CHILDREN 1ST has helped many children and families throughout Scotland. But they aren’t the only winners.

Each week players in one postcode share £25,000. And on the 6th of December, one lucky postcode and its sector will be celebrating after sharing an amazing £1.9 million when the Postcode Lotteries in Scotland and England join forces to create the ‘Big Postcode Rollover’. It’s the Postcode Lottery’s biggest ever UK area prize.

To enter to win your share of the prize pot – and help CHILDREN 1ST in the process – you need to sign up before Wednesday 11 November. To sign up, or to find out more, please click here.
