KiddiVouchers GO for Charity
13/11/2009
A CHILDREN 1ST corporate partner has recently received a prestigious Government Opportunities Award.
CHILDREN 1ST is delighted by the continuing support and success one of its corporate partners KiddiVouchers – which was recently declared the Best Small Business in the Government Opportunities National Excellence In Public Procurement Awards 2009.
KiddiVouchers has built a successful business facilitating families and businesses to take advantage of the government childcare vouchers scheme aimed at helping working parents. Families save up to £2,391 a year by using childcare vouchers, while employers save up to £373 a year per scheme member.
The success of KiddiVouchers has been good for charities too. KiddiVouchers guarantees to donate at least 5% of profits to charities relating to children and childcare. In 2007 KiddiVouchers chose CHILDREN 1ST as one of the company’s charity partners, partly in recognition of a recent growth in the number of Scottish clients. With a recent donation of £750, the partnership has raised £2,500 to support some of Scotland’s most vulnerable children and young people.
Jo Anderson, Corporate Development Manager at CHILDREN 1ST, said about the partnership: “Family support is a key area of work at CHILDREN 1ST. Kiddivouchers also supports families by making childcare more accessible and affordable. Their recent GO award is testament to the quality of the service they provide. As both organisations are committed to providing high quality service and support to families, the partnership between Kiddivouchers and CHILDREN 1ST is a natural fit, and we are delighted by – and very grateful for – its continued success”.
