Calling all 13 to 21 year olds

09/12/2009

Calling all 13 to 21 year olds in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Scottish Borders – we need you!

Lothian and Borders Police are about to rewrite their Youth Strategy and want to hear the views of young people aged 13–21 about their experiences of interaction with the police, what they feel would be a fair police response to issues and what is reasonable to expect in terms of a service from the police.

The session will take place on Tuesday 5 January from 10.30am to 3pm at The Performing Arts Centre (Stewarts Melville College, Queensferry Road, Edinburgh).

You don't need to have had any direct involvement with the police but have to be prepared to share your opinions and views in small groups.

This is an exciting opportunity and the first time the police have actively involved young people in working together to develop strategy.

What you say will influence what the police include in this strategy so this really is your opportunity to make a difference.

If you are interested, please email Belinda.Robertson@children1st.org.uk by Thursday 17 December.
