Gordon Smith show his supportIn what must have been one of his last photocalls, outgoing SFA chief executive Gordon Smith showed his support of CHILDREN 1ST and SPAR's Tartan 5's football tournament.

He attended the location of the Tartan 5's final - Queens Park - with children from the Queens Park FC Community Programme.

Gordon said of the tournament "Using football to encourage well being is fantastic...when it helps to raise money to protect Scotland's vulnerable children, it's even better! I would urge everyone to take part in this great event!"

Ten five-a-side teams from each region are needed to play in each match. Pitches have been reserved across the country and an SFA referee will oversee each match. The winning team from all seven regions will then go on to compete against each other in Queens Park in Glasgow. All of the teams who reach the final will receive a tour of Hampden and a team trophy.

So what are you waiting for...reserve your team place today and battle it out to be the winner of Scotland's Tartan 5's!
