Final Young Fathers Research Seminar - Inverness

CHILDREN 1ST is holding the final research dissemination seminar of the
findings of 'The Fathers of Children Born to Teenage Mothers: A Study of
Processes within Changing Family Formation Practices', in Inverness.
The findings of this study provide a progressive account of the lives,
experiences, feelings and support needs of young parent families during
pregnancy and after birth, with an emphasis on the perspective of young
fathers.
The study provides valuable information on a little-researched group,
namely young couples and young people choosing to co-parent.
The event takes place on Tuesday 10th August 2010 1.30pm - 4pm at the
SGL Room, Eden Court, Bishops Road, Inverness IV3 5SA where a buffet
lunch will be served from 1.30pm with the event beginning at 2pm. There
is no charge for this event.
The research will be presented by Professor Malcolm Hill, Glasgow School
of Social Work and spaces are limited and subject to confirmation. To
