Scottish Business Leaders Support Scotland’s Children
Thursday 9 December 2010
We are delighted to announce that some of Scotland’s most influential and successful businesspeople have chosen to support our work with Scotland’s vulnerable children and families.
In November of this year, CHILDREN 1ST received £5,000 as one of the 15 charities benefiting this year from the annual awards lunch of the Scottish Business Achievement Awards Trust (SBAAT).
The 2010 lunch was held at Prestonfield House Hotel on Friday 14 May. Even in the difficult economic climate, over 360 people attended the event and raised £54,000 for the chosen charities. The winners of this year’s three business awards were announced in the presence of HRH the Princess Royal (pictured).
The business awards are chosen by the SBAAT Awards Committee, an exclusive panel of prominent Scottish Business people. Past winners include some of the most eminent businessmen and women in Scotland.
A big thanks to everyone at SBAAT for supporting CHILDREN 1ST. To learn more about SBAAT, visit their website at www.sbaat.co.uk.
