CHILDREN 1ST would like to extend a big thanks to all at Search Consultancy who attended the company's "East vs. West" Charity Football Match (sponsored by S1jobs) at Airdrie Excelsior Stadium.
Based in Glasgow, Search is one of leading recruitment consultancies in the UK, with offices across the country. They company has recently created a Charity Committee with ambitious plans to raise much needed funds for six charities chosen by their staff.
On a sunny(ish) evening in late June, Search staff travelled from all over Scotland to watch employees from their East Coast Offices play employees against their West Coast Offices. While the "East Team" brought home the trophy (7-5), the real winners of the day were all the charity partners like CHILDREN 1ST who are benefiting from the impressive energy and enthusiasm of such a great group of supporters. We look forward to next year's rematch.
The event raised over £2,500 for six charities chosen by their staff, sending their fundraising efforts off to a brilliant start. The Search Consultancy Charity Committee has a number of other events planned for the year, and we look forward to a year of fantastic fundraising success.
