Corrieneuchin
Our local services help children to heal and their families to recover from abusive experiences.
From our centre in Aberdeen, we provide a therapeutic service for children, young people and their families who have been affected by physical, sexual or emotional abuse. Our staff use counselling skills, art, play and other forms of creative communication, to help children make sense of their experiences and encourage them to develop trusting relationships with safe boundaries in the future. We also help families to protect their children from further abuse.
Corrieneuchin is jointly funded by CHILDREN 1ST and Aberdeen City Council, for children and young people who have experienced abuse, up to 18 years of age and also for their families and carers. Agency and self-referrals are welcome from families living in Aberdeen.
