Long after the violence has stopped the hurt from domestic abuse remains.

Whether they have suffered the blows themselves or seen a parent being attacked, living with domestic abuse affects children's views of relationships and themselves. They may be afraid of adults or think that physical and emotional violence is a normal way of expressing emotions.

We offer an outreach service to young people aged 18 and under which gives them the opportunity to work through their experiences in a safe environment. Our staff provide emotional and therapeutic support to children and young people affected by domestic violence across the Scottish Borders.

Working in partnership with other professionals like police officers and social workers, our staff can help family relationships to heal.

Children, young people, their families or carers, can contact LetSBsafe 2 directly for support or can be referred by other agencies or professionals.
