Award for Children 1st and Skyscanner

Children 1st and Skyscanner beat some strong competition to win the Best Charity & Corporate Partnership award at the Charity Champions Awards on Thursday 6 October.

The award recognised the achievements of the partnership which saw a wide range of activities take place. This included staff from the company designing a vibrant child friendly room for our base in Glasgow, a new video being created to raise awareness of our work and a host of fundraising activities taking place which raised over £60,000 for Children 1st.

“We’re delighted that the outstanding achievements of the partnership between Children 1st and Skyscanner has got the recognition it deserves” said Paul Mc Keown, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Children 1st.

“This is all down to the fantastic efforts by the staff from both organisations who worked closely together to achieve so much. It really is the icing on the cake to round off a hugely successful partnership which has had an impact way beyond our expectations.”
