Support for asylum seeking and refugee families
Life can be confusing and scary when you come to settle in a new country, but there is support available to help you.
We’ve put together some links below for organisations in Scotland that can help with a range of information and support – from practical things like how to get a national insurance number and registering your children in education, to emotional support to help you cope with the difficult situations you may have faced in your own country. If you don't feel comfortable speaking English, lots of these organisations will be able to offer interpreter services.
As well as the links below, our Parentline team is here for you to provide help and support, seven days a week.
