Volunteer Development Co-ordinator (East Region)

Children 1st works to keep children in their families and communities where they are safe and loved.  We listen, we support, through relationships with families so that children’s human rights are protected and fulfilled. We listen to the voices of children and families to influence and transform systems for all of Scotland’s children.

At Children 1st we know the value of volunteers to children and families, the difference volunteers can make to children’s everyday lives. We have an excellent opportunity to join us and to play a vital role in the development and growth of volunteering across our organisation.

We are seeking an excellent person who can  promote and develop volunteering with a focus on our East services and also across our organisation. You will put children and families at the heart of everything you do, engage with volunteers and cross organisational colleagues to strengthen the involvement and incredible contribution of volunteers.

We are looking for you to bring previous experience of co-ordinating the work of volunteers and the energy and passion to ensure that volunteers are involved, supported, and rewarded for their  excellent contribution to all that we do for children and families.
