Mary Glasgow appointed as Acting Chief Executive
Ken Cunningham, Chair of Children 1st, Scotland’s National Children’s Charity said:
“We are delighted to announce that as Children 1st's Chief Executive Alison Todd begins a period of adoption leave, Mary Glasgow our Director of Children and Families Services and External Affairs has been appointed as the charity’s Acting Chief Executive. Assistant Director Linda Jardine has been appointed to cover Mary's current role.
“Preventing and protecting children from traumatic experiences and supporting children who have experienced abuse and neglect to recover and rebuild their lives is the heart of Children 1st’s mission.
“The Board are very pleased both to support Alison in her decision to adopt and to support Mary and Linda as they bring their wealth of knowledge and experience of supporting vulnerable children and families across both the statutory and third sector to their new roles."
