Three new multi-disciplinary community hubs to open in Aberdeen city

We are delighted to announce that we will be joining partners, children and families in the creation of three new multi-disciplinary community hubs in Aberdeen city.

The hubs will provide a safe and welcoming space for practical and emotional support to families in Aberdeen through a clear and single point of entry. Families will contribute to their ongoing design and development so that they can easily get what they need, at the time they need it.

Linda Jardine, Director of Children and Families, Children 1st said: “The approach puts children at the centre of services and recognises that when families get early support children do better. It is rooted in children’s rights and delivers on the recommendations of the national Care Review - the Promise.”

Working together through the Hubs we will improve the mental wellbeing of children across Aberdeen, and we look forward to working alongside families, partners and supporters in this new project.

We're excited to be recruiting for people to join us on this development journey
